Terms of Service for Connolly's Puppies

Welcome to Connolly’s Puppies ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online puppy classifieds marketplace at https://www.connollyspuppies.com. By creating an account, browsing listings, or contacting sellers on our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Marketplace Disclaimer & Scope of Service

Connolly’s Puppies is an online venue/classifieds advertising platform that connects prospective buyers with independent puppy breeders and sellers. Connolly’s Puppies is not a direct breeder, seller, or broker of animals. We do not own, raise, examine, or guarantee any puppies listed by third-party sellers on the platform.

2. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer using our classifieds portal, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for conducting due diligence on sellers, inspecting puppies, verifying health certificates/vaccinations, and meeting breeders in person or via live video before making any financial commitment.
  • All final purchases, adoption contracts, deposits, health guarantees, and transportation arrangements are negotiated directly between you and the seller.
  • You will practice safe online habits and avoid wire transfers or untraceable payment methods when dealing with unverified sellers.

3. Seller & Breeder Rules

Breeders and sellers posting listings on Connolly’s Puppies agree to:

  • Provide truthful, accurate, and up-to-date photos, health details, pricing, and breeder disclosures.
  • Sell only healthy, properly cared-for puppies in full compliance with local, state, and federal animal welfare regulations.
  • Refrain from listing stolen animals, puppy mill operations, or fraudulently obtained images/content.
  • Honor all individual health guarantees and sales contracts provided to buyers.

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or delete listings/accounts that violate our guidelines or generate repeated user complaints without prior notice.

4. Payments & Listing Fees

Fees for posting classified listings or featured advertisements on Connolly’s Puppies are stated at the time of purchase. Listing fees are non-refundable once a post goes live, regardless of whether a puppy is successfully sold or removed early.

5. Intellectual Property & Listing Rights

By posting photos or descriptions on Connolly’s Puppies, sellers grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, promote, and market those listings on our site and social media channels. Site branding, layout, and software code remain the property of Connolly’s Puppies.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews.
  • Harassing, spamming, or soliciting sellers or buyers for unrelated products/services.
  • Scraping, copying, or harvesting classified data or user contact info without authorization.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connolly’s Puppies shall not be held liable for any disputes, financial losses, health issues, broken contracts, or damages arising out of transactions between buyers and sellers on this platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the jurisdiction in which Connolly’s Puppies operates.
